Spring 1

Our texts in Spring 1 are truly awesome. We will be exploring fantasy stories using Arthur and the Golden Rope and writing our own stories.

After that, we will be using our geography knowledge of the rainforest to write a report filled with our new learning.

Spring 2

We start the term looking at Kennings poetry - as our history is the Anglo Saxons, which is where this style of poetry originated. We will be writing our own Kennings based on characters from the story Beowulf.

We finish spring term by writing our own film script inspired by the short film, the Saga of Biorn.
