Castleshaw Trip
Castleshaw 2023
Year 4 had a fantastic time at Castleshaw exploring all about the Romans. After a short time exploring the Romans in Oldham and the history of the Romans, we got to do a dig for artefacts and sorted the items in to categories. Then we went and set up the famous Testudo (tortoise formation) and checked who created it the best to avoid the oncoming balls.
Finally, we ended the day with a walk up to the Roman Fort at Castleshaw to explore the ruins and complete a treasure hunt looking for hidden treasures.
