The use of information and communication technology is an integral part of the National Curriculum and is a key skill for everyday life. Computing has deep links with mathematics, science, and design and technology, and provides insights into both natural and artificial systems. Computing enables pupils to become digitally literate , able to use, and express themselves and develop their ideas through, information and communication technology. Computing is an integral part of preparing children to live in a world where technology is continuously and rapidly evolving

Our intention is to provide a high-quality computing education which equips children to participate in a rapidly-changing world that is controlled and transformed by technology. We understand that it is essential for pupils to understand modern information and communication technologies, and for them to use these skills to become responsible, competent, confident and creative participants of an increasingly digital world.

Technology is changing the lives of everyone.  It is our intention to enable the children to develop the skills necessary to be able to use information in a discriminating and effective way.
