Community Work! 

We do a lot in our local community and we try our best to support those in our neighbourhood.

Here is a flavour of what we get up to...

• Charity fundraising for various worthy causes
• Visiting homes for the elderly
• Collecting items to replenish toys and food for a local animal rescue shelter
• Collecting food for the local food bank
• Visiting the Mayor

Visiting the Mayor

We had an insightful afternoon visiting the Mayor, we sat in the Mayoral Chambers and asked questions to both the Mayor and the Youth Mayor. 

We got a good insight as to what it would be like to be in one of these roles, we also found out what they do for our town of Oldham. We asked Mayor Elaine Garry and the Youth Mayor lots of questions as well as finding out how we could become the Youth Mayor or Mayor one day!
