Online technology and social media platforms can be a fantastic tool for communication, entertainment and learning support. However, unfortunately the online world can be very unsafe if not used appropriately. 

Our School Councillors have created some top tips to help you support children in staying safe online and have created this fabulous and very informative poster. 

We had an insightful afternoon visiting the Mayor, we sat in the Mayoral Chambers and asked questions to both the Mayor and the Youth Mayor. 

We got a good insight as to what it would be like to be in one of these roles, we also found out what they do for our town of Oldham. We asked Mayor Elaine Garry and the Youth Mayor lots of questions as well as finding out how we could become the Youth Mayor or Mayor one day!
