Maths Area


The Maths Area is the perfect area to practise skills such as counting, recognising and writing numbers, playing maths games, recognising and naming shapes and much more.. There are lots of different objects that you can use in our Maths Area. You can enjoy putting numbers in order, making patterns and sharing out and playing with loose part objects.
Writing Area


The Writing Area is a space designed to inspire children to mark-make, draw, and begin writing in fun and meaningful ways. It offers a range of materials such as pencils, crayons, markers, whiteboards, chalkboards, paper, and word cards to encourage creativity and self-expression. Children can write letters, make signs, or draw stories, helping them develop fine motor skills, letter recognition, and confidence in using written language. This area supports early literacy by making writing an enjoyable and purposeful part of play.
Construction Area


We love to have lots of creative fun in the Construction Area! We have lots of differing shapes and sizes of building blocks to build models and creations. I wonder where your imagination will take you? Maybe you might build a famous landmark, a tower, a sky scraper, a theme park, an airport or a train! The possibilities are endless.
Investigation Area

The Investigation Area offers an opportunity to explore, ask questions, and discover how things work. Children can become scientists and explore natural materials, test magnets, observe insects, or experiment with water and sand. This area helps develop early scientific thinking and language skills as children make predictions, observe changes, and discuss their findings. Through guided play and open-ended resources, the Investigation Area fosters a love of learning and discovery from a young age.
Computer Area

The Computing Area allows for children to explore technology in a playful and age-appropriate way. It supports the development of early digital skills as children learn to follow simple instructions, explore cause and effect, and begin to understand how technology can be used to solve problems and communicate. This area encourages creativity, logical thinking, and collaboration while laying the foundation for future learning in our digital world.
Reading Area
Come and Dive Into Reading in our Under The Sea Reading Area! This cozy space invites children to dive into books and enjoy reading in a calm and imaginative environment. It’s filled with a variety of picture books, storybooks, and non-fiction texts that spark imagination and curiosity. Here, children build early literacy skills, develop vocabulary, and explore the joy of storytelling - laying the foundation for lifelong reading habits.
Small World Area
The Small World Area is a place where children's imaginations come to life! With dinosaurs, farm animals, cars, bugs, jungle creatures, and more, children can create their own stories and explore different worlds through play. This area helps develop language, social skills, creativity, and understanding of the world around them. Whether they're building a farm, going on a jungle adventure, or racing cars, children are learning through storytelling, problem-solving, and role play in a fun and engaging way.
Sand Area
The Outdoor Sand Area is a fun and sensory-rich space where children can dig, build, pour, and explore. Playing with sand helps develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and early maths and science concepts like volume, texture, and cause and effect. Whether building castles, making tracks, or using buckets and spades, children use their imagination and creativity while learning through play. It’s also a great space for social interaction, problem-solving, and cooperative play in the fresh air.
Creative Area
Become an Artist in our Creative Area! With a variety of materials like paper, paint, recycled items, and craft supplies, children are free to express themselves and bring their ideas to life. This area supports fine motor skills, decision-making, and self-confidence, while also encouraging creativity and experimentation. Whether making a robot from boxes or painting a masterpiece, children learn through hands-on, open-ended play.
