Vicious Vikings

In autumn 1 we are learning about the Vikings. We will cover how Vikings arrived to Britain and how they prospered, explore the cause and effects of raids, particularly the significance of Lindisfarne. We will also look at their settlements, the introduction of Danelaw and use secondary resources to understand the Viking way of life. Children will also have the opportunity to explore the Norse Gods and compare these with Roman beliefs.
