Welcome to Year 2!
What a fantastic start to the year! Year 2 have been busy finding nouns and memorising a magical powers story in English and working on place value in Maths. We are having a big push on handwriting in Year 2 and we are trying to make sure we are forming our letters correctly. In Art we have been learning about the artist Roy Lichtenstein and investigating what colours he used in his pictures. Year 2 looked at primary colours and we had a go at blending them using different materials. In P.E. this week we have been looking at our balancing skills.
