Now we haven't revisited this in Year 4 yet but I know you have looked at this in the past. Today I would like you to identify the different types of teeth in humans and their simple functions.

Humans have three main types of teeth:

1. Incisors

Incisors help you bite off and chew pieces of food.

2. Canines

These teeth are used for tearing and ripping food.

3. Molars

These help you crush and grind food.

Look at the link below. There is a video to watch, information to read and a game to play.

Now compare the teeth of carnivores and herbivores and suggest reasons for the differences. Look at the link below. There is a video to watch and information to read.

I would also like you to find out what damages teeth and how to look after them. Use the information below to help you with your learning about teethlaugh.
Finally, please put your knowledge to the test and play the games titled 'Teeth 28.4.20' on Education City. You will find it on the 'Classwork' section. Sadly, these games are not tablet friendly so if you only have access to a tablet, please just focus on the 'learn screen' rather than the games. It is all under the same title.

P.E.

Have a go at the Kids Cosmic Yoga.

Alfie, I expect you will know all these poses already but the rest of us may be a bit rusty. wink
