Let's play the number SPLAT game!

Prepare some sticky notes or pieces of paper with various numbers. These can be 1-10 or 1-20 or if your child if confident with bigger numbers you could use numbers up to 25 or even 30!

Place them in front of your child and show them how to 'SPLAT' the numbers with their hand (or with fly swatters if you have one). The goal of this simple yet fun game is for your child to identify a number and match it with the ones written on sticky notes before smacking the correct answer with a fly swatter/hand. You can shout out random numbers for your child to 'SPLAT' or you could pick them out of a hat or even use a dice to find smaller numbers. Can they 'SPLAT' the numbers in the correct order? forwards? backwards?

Have fun!
