Today I would like you to think back to your learning about Roald Dahl's 'revolting rhymes'. You might wish to refresh your memory and look back on some of the videos and poems, which are still available on the previous week's learning page.
I would like you to plan your own version of a revolting rhyme. The revolting rhymes all link to fairy tales, and I would like you to plan your own version of this fairy tale with a twist!
Have a look at the story below of 'The Stinky Cheesman', which is a twist on the story of 'The Gingerbread man'.
Remember you are only planning the poem today and not writing it- you might wish to plan the main elements of the poem and think of adjectives and rhyming words that could come in useful!
Please practice spellings using our activities assigned on Education City- your username and login details are in your diary!
