Wednesday 25th March 2020 - English learning
Building on yesterday's descriptions, I would like your child to extend their labels into simple sentences. Can they tell you what a sentence is and what are the things we need to remember when writing sentences? (Capital letter at the beginning, finger spaces between words and a full stop at the end.)
For example: Mum is big. She has 2 legs.
Please remind them to 'finger-tell' to count their words as they say them, and again as they write them so they don't miss any out.
