Writing

Today you are going to write the final part of your instructions. This is the conclusion. A conclusion sums up the task and helps the reader check that they have achieved the correct outcome.

For example:

Your tyre is now ready to be returned into place and your truck should be ready to go crushing again!

Warning: If you ever actually own or drive a monster truck, always remember to ask an expert before trying to fix any part of it yourself!

Try and start a sentence with a subordinating conjunction. Don't forget to include your comma.

If you want to show off your amazing instructions, please email them in.

If you have someone helping you, they could test you on your spelling as today is Friday, which is normally our spelling test day. I hope you are all doing okay with the spellings each week. Remember, if you wish to stretch yourself, you have highlighted words in the back of your planners you can also be learning.

Reading

I would like you to complete a 60 second read titled ‘Incredible Invertebrates!'. You will find this in your pack. Please read the text and identify the key information to answer each question.
