We are looking at the the split digraph e-e today. You will need your exercise book and a pencil.
Today I would like you to plan your own version of the story 'We're going on a bear hunt'.
In your exercise book use a ruler to split one of the pages into 8 boxes. In each box draw pictures to represent the different parts of your new story. Use the sentences and questions in the image below to help you. Remember we have changed the setting to school. Use your ideas from yesterday for boxes 2 and 4.
Support: If you are finding this a little tricky do not change the story. Instead, draw pictures to represent each part of the original story.
Challenge: If you would like a challenge, after you have drawn the images, add adjectives, alliteration and onomatopoeia to the boxes. This will remind you to use them when you write the story.
