Writing

If we had been in school this half term, our Topic would have been Fabulous France and in English we would have been looking at stories from other cultures. With this in mind, I would like you to listen to a story from another culture called Madeline by Ludwig Bemelmans.

Madeline by Ludwig Bemelmans

Once you have listened to the story, I would like you to draw me a story map to match it in your exercise book. Below are some examples of story maps from other books, in case you have forgotten what a story map is. Remember, if you want to email in any photos of your learning, you can do. I'd love to see how you're getting on.

Spelling

Please find your ‘Statutory Spelling List Y3 & Y4 Activity Book’ in your packs. It should look like this:

Today, please find and complete page 7. I am going to start giving you 10 spellings again so I would like you to also find and complete page 2. The page numbers are at the bottom of the page. Best of luck finding the correct pages wink.

Handwriting

In your packs, you have a plastic wallet labelled 'handwriting'. I would like you to write out the words and sentences on unit 10, page 11 in your exercise books. I have attached a photograph below in case the sheet is missing from your pack. Look carefully at the letter formation and at which letters are joined.
