You have already done some learning about pronouns while we've been learning from home but today I would like you to focus on determiners.

Please look at the learn screen on Education City titled 'determiners 1.5.20', as always, it is in the classwork section.


A determiner is a word that introduces a noun such as a, an, every, three, many and those. The determiner ‘the’ is also known as the definite article and the determiners ‘a’ and ‘an’ are also known as the indefinite article. Determiners can be split into several categories depending on their usage. These include: possessive determiners, interrogative determiners, demonstrative determiners and quantifiers.

Please look at the sentences below and write them out in your exercise books. Don't forget to use your best handwriting while making sure you're joining the letters we have looked at in our handwriting sessions. Once you have written out the sentences, please underline the determiners.
