Today I would like you to write a character description. The last piece of homework I set you was to describe Grendel's mother from the story Beowulf. We looked at the use of adjectives and expanded noun phrases to describe a character. We thought about the different aspects of the character we could describe such as its appearance, how it moved and its personality. I would like you to use all these features to help you describe Mo Romero, the zombie who loves nothing more than eating vegetables. Below I have included some photos of Mo to help you describe him but you can also add detail using what you know from the story and your own imagination. I have also added a link to a video and a game to help remind you about expanded noun phrases.
Your spellings this week are:
Use a paintbrush and water to write the words outside on the pavement. If you don’t have a paint brush, you could use your finger or a water pistol.
I would like you to complete a 60 second read titled ‘Caesar’s Calendar Conundrum'. You will find this in your pack. Please read the text and identify the key information to answer each question.
