Writing

I would like you to write a recipe for the zombies in the story you listened to yesterday. Your recipe could be something you'd like to eat yourself or it could be something completely made up but no matter what, it must include vegetables. Writing a recipe is like writing a set of instructions. It must be in chronological order, use simple, precise language and imperative/bossy verbs. I have included some examples below.

Spelling

Your spellings this week are:

continue

decide

describe

different

difficult

Write the letters for each word on card and jumble them up. Lay them on the floor and jump on the letters to make the word.

Handwriting

In your packs, you have a plastic wallet labelled 'handwriting'. I would like you to write out the words and sentences on unit 8, page 9 in your exercise books. I have attached a photograph below in case the sheet is missing from your pack. Look carefully at the letter formation and at which letters are joined.
