Sewing isn't as easy as we might have thought!

This week we have continued with our "Animal World" work. We have looked at the woodland habitat and discovered many burrowing animals- we have learned many interesting facts about creatures which dig a burrow to live in and raise their young. As part of this theme we have been sewing felt animals. Some of us struggled initially but I am proud to say that even the children who found this skill difficult to acquire continued dauntless. The fruits of their labour will make wonderful gifts for the forthcoming Christmas season.
