Year 4 thoroughly enjoyed Science Day on Monday! We never knew how much there was to know about Science. We also put our amazing Tudor portraits on display. Look at the photos below to see how brilliant they are. Can you tell who the portraits are of?
Year 3 thoroughly enjoyed science day at the start of the week! We continued the fun when we designed our own scarab beetles and created them out of clay. We also went on a trip to Salford College Skills Centre; the children were given a tour of the college and its facilities and then went into the joinery department to build our own bird boxes. They were even treated to some candy floss after we'd finished building! Year 3 had an excellent afternoon and everyone succeeded in building a bird box for their gardens at home.
We were delighted once again to welcome Andy Walker to school and he impressed us all with his motivational work and his inspiring story. We had lots of fun as you can see and it made us appreciate the difficulties faced by people with disabilities.
