The children have been working hard on their handwriting this week. Our class story map about Nails Soup is complete. Also our BFG dream jars are on display now. In Maths we have been practising our 50 times tables! Also, we have been using problem solving skills and place value to work out numbers in other scripts - even Chinese numbers. The children put their spellings on signs in Minecraft, or started a spelling book in book creator on the I-pads.
Well done to Oliver and Remy-Ann who were the first winners of our English and Maths awards. This week, we had another very busy Science lesson where we discussed how the particles in solids, liquids and gases behave as well as letting off balloons around the room to prove the existence of gases. We have studied how to use fronted adverbials and adjective phrases in our writing and are now ready to put them in our stories.
