Year 3

We have been continuing our work on shape poems this week. We wrote poems about our topic 'diwali' onto the shape of a Rangoli patterns. The children created diva lamps for Diwali next week, we are looking forward to decorating them next week! In maths we have been adding 1, 10, 100 and 1000. Thank you for bringing your sponsor forms and well done to Luke who carried the most bean bags in Year 3!

Year 4

This week Year 4 have been writing poems. We have been looking at using rhyming words and we were surprised at how tricky it can be! Well done to everyone who remembered to bring in their sponsor forms and money. Also we must say congratulations to Joseph, who carried the most bean bags in Year 4.

Year 6

Well done to everyone involved in school sport this week. You put on some amazing performances and you represented our school so well. We've enjoyed our Peter Grimes stories and hope to work with Miss Latus after half-term to put our words to music. Well done to Ben for collecting the most bean bags even though he did look ridiculous and thank you to everyone who brought in their sponsor money this week. We all appreciate it.
