This week year 5 went back in time to Eden Camp. We had a great day walking through different huts, looking at artifacts from WW2. The huts were really interesting and some even had life size models in there showing what life was like. We couldn't believe the smells/noises. It must have been a scary time to live in London. Check out our pictures below.
This week we started creating our own Tudor dance in P.E. We plan to build on this each week to create an amazing performance. Year 4 also enjoyed learning how to stay safe on the roads while riding our bikes. Look at the photos below to see how we got on.
We enjoyed internet safety week this week and want to thank Mrs Taylor for organising it. It wasn't all doom and gloom: the internet can be fun too and we discussed why with Colette Morris who runs courses for adults and who wanted to hear children's opinions about why technology can be useful and a positive experience.
Year 3 have been getting busy with their green fingers again this week. We had a look at our plants and how they've grown over the half term. The children were very impressed to see that the bean sprout seeds had split and roots, stem and leaves had appeared. We also created interactive presentations about our plants on the iPads. In Literacy we have started writing instructions and we used our topic as a stimulus to create some instructions about how to make an Egyptian mummy.
