Year 6

We met up with our buddies on Friday afternoon and had a lovely time. We started by having ice-cream in Year 6 and then played together on the field. A big well done to Year 6 for working hard all week; you deserved your afternoon with your buddies.

Year 4

This week in year 4 we have been learning all about improper fractions and mixed numbers. We hadn't heard of them before and have done really well in learning all about them. In English, we have started looking at instructions and what is needed to make them easy to follow. Our Science this week has been very 'messy'! We have learnt more about the digestive system and even made our own digestive tract in class. We started with Weetabix and crushed it up in our 'mouths' moved it to our 'stomach' where it got mushed up some more and had 'acid' added to it. After this, we added 'bile' before sending it into the 'intestines'. Here we pushed it through and eventually produced 'faeces'! Check out our pictures below to see!
