Year 4 have been looking at nouns, verbs and adjectives in English this week and we even made a game about the different word classes using Tiny Tap on the iPads. You can see us hard at work in the photo below. We also looked at the different states and territories in Australia and found out lots of different facts about each one. The map we created can also be seen in the photo below. On Thursday we thoroughly enjoyed our music lesson with Mr Leedale, some of us may even be starting to play a new musical instrument!
We've been introduced to our buddies and are looking forward to a lovely year with them. We've continued to investigate circuits in science and began our geography topic with Mrs Banham. Lacrosse was enjoyable on Friday and hopefully we'll take part in a tournament next year. Well done to Sophie, Georgia and Megan who became our class councillors.
This week in year 5 we have been looking at column addition and subtraction in Maths. We have shown Miss Groome excellent place value knowledge! In English we are looking at instructions and have been building noun phrases in our Grammar work. Well done to Alfie who got his pen licence as his handwriting is so neat!
