A big thank you to Mr Wilson from the Oldham Music Service who came in this week to teach us all about how to use Garageband. We had a great day and learned a lot, including how to create an instant pop classic using loops and also how to create a 12 bar blues track with some improvisation added for good measure. Now we know how to use it, some of us will be busy at home creating a smash hit which will hopefully make millions.
It has been a week of assessments this week so we are tired out! We have written our own fable about a lion and a mouse and have focused on certain types of maths questions that several of us got wrong. It helped us to understand what the questions were asking! In ICT, we have created a powerpoint to show all that we have learned about the Romans. Hopefully, we can add a few more slides to it next week after our trip to Castleshaw. We would also like to say a massive thank you to Emily who was our Crompton House work experience student this week. She has been a huge help and was very kind to us. We will miss her and want to wish her all the best with her exams and the future.
