On Wednesday we continued our investigation into friction with Mrs Majerski. This week we also made Tudor medicine by carefully measuring out different amounts of liquid. Look at the photos below to see how we got on.
This week in year 5 we have have started looking at diary writing. We are reading a Michael Morpurgo book and trying to imagine what life is like for the boy in the story. In maths we have been looking at measurements and converting g to kg and other similar measurements. On Thursday it was VE day so we all dressed up as evacuees and were 'evacuated' to Shawside Nursing home. Here we chatted with the residents asking them questions about life in the war. One lady was 100 years old! She was a nurse in the war and had a shelter at the bottom of her garden! Check out our pictures below to see what we got up to!
Remember to get a good night's sleep before each of your tests this week, Year 6.

Remember there's a par-tay to look forward to on Friday.
