Year 6

Well done to everyone who took part in our Babushka play as part of the festival of thanksgiving. If anyone has any spare Christmas decorations, please bring them in for Friday. The Crompton House challenge continues into next week - will it be Ella or Bradley to join Angela?

Year 5

This week in year 5 we have been working hard to fnish our Christmas lanterns ready for the parade in Shaw. They look amazing and very festive. The Christmas elves have been working hard in the classroom and have got all the Christmas decorations up ready for Monday. We have been measuring and drawing angles this week and independently wrote descriptive stories to be assessed by Miss Groome.

At Forest schools we learnt to use a knife for whittling sticks. We then used these as pegs to support our shelters. We got the fire going again (although Miss Groome struggled to get a spark) and had hot chocolate to celebrate Christopher's birthday.

Year 4

Well done to Year 4 for bringing in tins of soup for the Festival of Giving. The children who preformed in the Diwali presentation did a brilliant job too. Miss Mears was really impressed with Year 4s hard work on Venn Diagrams this week. Keep it up!
