In year 4 this week we have been looking at inverse operations and continued out descriptive writing. We also had Science day on Wednesday which was great fun for the whole school. We were split into groups and mixed with other classes, before going round the school visiting different stations run by the staff. On each station there were different science experiments including: volcanoes, sound, friction, lava lamps, conductors and insulators, precipitation, forces and much much more. A huge thank you to Liz Judge from Newman college who brought a Van De Graaff machine with her and another huge thank you to Steph Grimshaw from Newman college and her year 7 pupils, who ran several stations and really got the children actively involved. It was a wonderful day and it was good to see all the children enjoying Science so much.
