This week in year 3 we have been adding and subtracting amounts of money using different methods. In English we have finished mapping our Arachne the Spinner Myth - ready to change it to our own story. We have also been reading a sotry called Nanny Fox, which tells us all about a fox who isn't like other foxes and he wants to look after chicks as friends. We talked about how each of us is unique and we shouldn't feel ashamed if we feel different to other people.
This week's big debate is which is the longest river in the world. We thought it was the Nile but some websites say it is the Amazon. I suppose we'll just have to go and measure both to find out the truth. In other news, it rained a lot so we had to do indoor PE but we enjoyed rounders all the same. In DT, we've constructed our boats and are now in the finishing off stage where we make them as customised a possible before our trip to Castleshaw.
