Key Stage 2 news 25.2.18

Year 3

In year 3 this week we have started looking at mass and measuring scales in maths, our knowledge is excellent so we have also been converting measurements between g and kg. In English, we have started looking at playscripts and we performed Jack and Jill, which was very funny. We are now looking at the layout of playscripts and are going to map one out before writing our own. In Science we have started looking at different types of rocks and are continuing to learn about Islam in RE.

Year 4

This week we said goodbye to our friend in the picture below. We wish him well at his new school and hope he keeps in touch.

We enjoyed learning three different rolls in gymnastics although the teddy bear roll will take quite a bit of practice to master. Learning about teeth was fun in science, especially trying to eat a biscuit by only using our incisors.
