We had a lovely final week in the run-up to Christmas including a great party, some Christmas baking and the legendary Christmas Bingo. Happy Christmas to everyone!
This week in year 3 we have been continuing our Christmas rhyming poetry in the style of Clement Clarke Moore. We have also been finishing off our column multiplication and have looked at some Christmas themed maths. We used calculators to find answers to questions by calculating answers and then turning the calculator upside down the reveal a hidden word. We have also done some Christmas co-ordinates to reveal hidden pictures. All good fun and we developed our maths skills further too! In Art we completed our Egyptian collages and we had a go at curve stitching to make some beautiful Christmas cards. It was tricky at first, but we gt the hang of it really well, check some out below! Happy Christmas everyone!
